Many thanks to the Campaign Mentor Hospitals, scientific partners, and Campaign participants who made National Action Day a success. We hope that this day has spread practical strategies for getting lasting results faster and more reliably on all 12 interventions in the 5 Million Lives Campaign.

Declare Your Hospital's Aim(s)
IHI has issued an invitation for Campaign participants to publicly declare their hospital’s aim(s) for a particular intervention or for their organization’s hospital-wide efforts to reduce harm or mortality. As part of National Action Day, please consider accepting this challenge. Before submitting your own, please read through the aim statements submitted by IMPACT members and Campaign Mentor Hospitals.
To publicly declare your hospital's aim(s), please send an e-mail to campaign@ihi.org with “Declaration of Aim” in the subject line. Please include the name of your institution, the city and state in which you are located, and a 2 – 3 sentence aim that states what you hope to accomplish in a given time period (e.g., by the IHI National Forum in December, by a year from now or by the Campaign’s end in December of 2008).
