To help spread best practices, the National Initiative for Children’s Healthcare Quality (NICHQ) developed this implementation guide for the assessment, prevention, and treatment of childhood obesity. The practices are based on the June 2007 AMA/HRSA/CDC Expert Recommendation Guidelines. Additional tools and resources are also available on NICHQ's website as part of their Childhood Obesity Action Network.
