The numerator is the number of patients/clients who have documented diagnosed opportunistic infections; the denominator is the total number of HIV/AIDS patients/clients in the registry. Divide the numerator by the denominator and multiply by 100.
Less than 10 percent of patients/clients will have documented diagnosed opportunistic infections.
On the last day of the month, count the number of patients/clients who have documented diagnosed opportunistic infections; divide by the total number of HIV/AIDS patients/clients in the registry (multiply by 100).
