
National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA)
The National Association for People with AIDS (NAPWA), a United States-based organization, advocates on behalf of people living with — or at risk of becoming infected with — HIV/AIDS to curb both the disease's spread and associated human suffering. Founded in 1983, NAPWA is the oldest national AIDS organization in the United States and the oldest national network of people living with HIV and AIDS in the world.
