HIV Quality Improvement (HIVQUAL) Project Sampling Methodology

New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute
New York, New York, USA

This set of guidelines, developed by the National HIVQUAL Project, help HIV/AIDS health care providers identify patients eligible for sampling in performance measurement, and determine how many patient records to review based on the active case load.

The Minimum Sample Table included within the Sampling Methodology will help you determine how many patient records to sample based on the total eligible case load.

Background
Developed with funding from the Health Resources and Service Administration’s HIV/AIDS Bureau.
